Welcome to Victoria Ann Handmade! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services, including but not limited to the preservation and custom framing of your wedding bouquet. By using our website, placing an order, or engaging with our services, you agree to the following Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Our Services
At Victoria Ann Handmade, we specialize in preserving the beauty of your wedding bouquet and other special occasion florals. Our services include the drying, preservation, and custom framing of flowers, creating lasting mementos of your most cherished memories.
We offer various preservation methods, including but not limited to silica gel drying, resin encapsulation, as well as framing options to suit your personal preferences.
2. Placing an Order
To place an order with us, please follow the steps outlined on our website or contact us directly for assistance.
Schedule your Appointment
A nonrefundable deposit of $100 is due upon the time of scheduling your flower preservation appointment.
Confirmation
Once you have scheduled your appointment and paid your deposit with us, an automated email from our website will outline your appointment confirmation, flower care delivery instructions, and a coupon code for your nonrefundable $100 deposit paid to go towards your order balance.
Deposit
You are responsible for inputting the deposit coupon code provided to you via email when placing your preservation product(s) order via our website in-order-to redeem your full $100 deposit back. Failure to input the deposit coupon code upon product checkout is subject to pay credit card reimbursement fees.
Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking. However, we offer payment plans and accept many forms of payment via credit card, PayPal, bank transfer, etc.
Once payment is received, you will receive an email confirming your order and outlining the next steps.
3. Shipping & Delivery
Dropping Your Bouquet to Us
You are responsible for dropping off your bouquet to Victoria Ann Handmade shop in Eden Prairie, MN. We recommend assigning a trusted family member or friend to drop off your bouquet for you at your scheduled appointment time for a stress-free option.
RESCHEDULING - you are responsible for communicating drop-off contact information to us as well as inform us of any drop-off scheduling time changes. Flower arrival dates may be rescheduled up to one month in advance without any additional fees. Any last-minute changes less than a month before your scheduled drop-off date will incur a $100 inconvenience fee.
Please carefully follow the flower care and drop-off instructions provided by us to avoid damage to your flowers that may affect your flower preservation outcome. While we take great care in handling your bouquet, we are not responsible for damage caused by improper care or delivery.
Ensure that the bouquet is sent to the correct address sent to you in your email confirmation; any misdelivery due to an incorrect shipping address is the responsibility of the customer.
Shipping Your Bouquet to Us
You are responsible for shipping, including costs, of your bouquet to Victoria Ann Handmade shop in Eden Prairie, MN. We recommend using a reliable, traceable shipping method to ensure the bouquet’s safe arrival.
Please carefully follow the packaging guidelines provided by us to avoid damage during transit. While we take great care in handling your bouquet, we are not responsible for damage caused by improper packaging.
Ensure that the bouquet is sent to the correct address sent to you in your email confirmation; any misdelivery due to an incorrect shipping address is the responsibility of the customer.
Victoria Ann Handmade is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged bouquets. Victoria Ann Handmade is not liable for anything that happens to the flowers during the event or during transit. We prepare for each order by buying all necessary supplies ahead of time. We do not offer full refunds for lost, stolen or damaged bouquets.
Shipping Your Preserved Bouquet Back
After your bouquet has been preserved, we will carefully package it up for you. You may pick it up from our shop in Eden Prairie, MN for free or opt for shipping at cost.
Shipping costs for the return of your bouquet are not included in your order price. You are responsible for shipping payments due before your order is shipped out. You will receive an invoice directly to your email with your shipping costs due upon receipt. Your item(s) will not ship out to you until the shipping balance is paid. Failure to pay your shipping balance within 1 year, your order becomes the property of Victoria Ann Handmade.
Delivery times may vary based on the influx of orders and other factors, but we strive to ship all orders within 28-36 weeks from receipt of your bouquet. However, this is not an exact timeline, as it depends on many factors including the influx of current orders (fall brides can expect a longer turnaround time due to it being high wedding season), how big your order is, your response rate for approving your design layout, etc. We want to make sure all the details of your forever resin piece are perfect before shipping it to you.
4. Bouquet Preservation Process
Nature of the Process
Victoria Ann Handmade uses the highest-quality techniques to preserve your flowers, but due to the natural variations in each flower, slight color changes or shape alterations may occur. We make every effort to maintain the integrity of your bouquet, but it’s important to note that natural drying processes may result in small differences from the original appearance.
Preservation methods used may include silica drying, pressing, resin encapsulation, and framing, which may alter the look and feel of the flowers compared to their fresh state.
All white bouquets dry an off-white, yellow, or sometimes brown color. Red flowers dry maroon or darker red/plum color. Color correcting is available upon request for an additional fee.
Estimated Timeline
While we strive to return preserved bouquets within 28-36 weeks, the process may take longer depending on the complexity of your bouquet and current workload. You will be notified of any delays in advance.
The preservation process can be lengthy, but the high-quality product that comes from it is worth the wait. Here at Victoria Ann Handmade, we strive for clarity, longevity, and minimal bubbles with all preservations.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations
If canceled at least 6 months before your flower arrival date, we will refund everything except a retainer fee of $200 or a cancellation fee of up to 50% may apply.
If requesting a cancellation within 6 months of your reserved date no refunds are accepted. There are no exceptions to this due to the preparation in materials purchased for starting on your order and the appointment date held for your preservation.
Gift cards are non-refundable
Refunds
Due to the nature of our bespoke preservation services, we cannot offer refunds once the preservation process has begun.
If your bouquet is lost or damaged beyond repair during the preservation process, we will offer a partial refund or credit towards preserving a replica bouquet. In such cases, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your preserved bouquet.
For lost bouquets during shipping only: proof of lost package/bouquet will be required to submit in a request for a refund. We offer 50% refunds for bouquets that are lost in the mail and proven to be by proof of tracking number.
Credit for replica bouquets: You can send Victoria Ann Handmade a replica bouquet through your original florist or our local florist contact and overnight or drop off the flowers at our studio. You may also dry the flowers with our drying instructions yourself, then send them to our shop at a later time to save on costly 2nd-day air/overnight shipping fees.
You may use your order payment as a credit for any date within 1 year of the scheduled date. This credit is nontransferable.
Damaged bouquets: You may still preserve your damaged bouquet with Victoria Ann Handmade. It is quite normal for some of the flowers to brown slightly in the mail. We usually can still preserve flowers that have undergone excessive bruising/browning (as long as the client knows that the final product will have bruising). However, if your flowers have excessive browning, molding, mildew and/or rotting, we cannot dry or preserve them up to our standards.
Returns
Per our disclaimer, all Victoria Ann Handmade products are made without any warranty express or implied.
Personalized, custom items [e.g. wedding bouquet preservations] are sold on an as-is basis and cannot be returned.
Ready-made items may be returned within 7 days of purchase for a replacement item with the customer covering all shipping and handling costs.
Quality Guarantee
We take great care to ensure your bouquet is preserved to the highest standard. However, due to the inherent nature of floral preservation, perfect results are not guaranteed. Some imperfections may occur such as but not limited to bubbles, resin layer lines, glue visibility in frames, etc. We will always work with you to achieve the best possible outcome and are happy to discuss any concerns.
Your bouquet will go through a transformation process while it is being preserved. Some of the changes that may occur (but not limited to): Red/deep-colored roses will get darker, White flowers will develop into a more off-white or yellow tone, ”Bruising” or “translucent spots” or as we like to call them “love spots” may occur (To reduce this, try not to handle/touch/throw your flowers and do a bouquet toss with an artificial or bridesmaids bouquet instead), Some tropical flowers/greenery may not survive the drying process or may turn a brown color, the flowers will move slightly once the resin is poured on top.
The resin we use to preserve your flowers is clear, free of VOCs, and very high quality. It provides a three-dimensional experience of viewing your wedding flowers. Over time, the resin might develop a slight amber-like glow. We think this adds a beautiful, vintage element to it.
Disclaimer: resin yellowing is an inevitable effect of the natural aging of all resin. The best way to prevent this from happening is to leave it out of any kind of direct sunlight. Follow our care instructions provided in your packaging for longevity. We are not responsible for the natural effects of aging in your product.
6. Liability
Damage or Loss During Shipping: We are not responsible for any damage or loss that occurs during the shipping of your bouquet to us or the return shipping of your preserved bouquet. It is recommended that you insure your package during transit.
Limitations of Liability: Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the preservation service. We are not liable for sentimental or emotional loss, and our liability for lost or damaged items is capped at the cost of the bouquet preservation service.
7. Intellectual Property
By submitting photos of your bouquet and any other personal materials, you grant Victoria Ann Handmade the right to use these images for marketing, promotional, and social media purposes. Your name will always be credited unless you request otherwise.
Victoria Ann Handmade retains all rights to the designs and techniques used in the preservation and framing of your bouquet. Any reproduction or use of our designs for commercial purposes is prohibited without prior written consent.
8. Privacy Policy
We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Any personal information you provide, including names, addresses, and payment details, will be used solely for processing your order. However, if you opt for social sharing at the time of booking your appointment, we may tag your social handles in our posts featuring your order. Please refer to our [Privacy Policy] for further details on how we collect and use your data.
9. Modifications to Terms
Victoria Ann Handmade reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. All changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any changes.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Minnesota. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the Minnesota Judicial Branch.
